Congratulations. You have now entered the most important part of your life and it will never be the same again. And you'll never want it to change!

This clip from the movie Lost In Translation is the most perfect explanation I've ever heard about the wonders of becoming a parent. Stick with it and Bill Murray gives the most beautiful, poignant speech I've ever heard about what it is to become a parent:

From 2:15 is what I want to say to my kids or anyone who asks about becoming a parent...

Oh wow, great news. We never knew the gender of our first born.

    Congrats :)

And yes - I too have seen that kids can go from an android tablet to a Speccy no bothers. My little girl loves stuff on the Speccy :)

We told the hospital not to tell us, as we wanted it to be a surprise, and find out at the birth. The labour was a bit protracted, and I remember the nurses spent some time examining my wife at one point before the birth itself.

I asked one of them how the baby was, and I was told she was fine. Thanks
