Spectrum +2 +3 joystick adapters.

edited March 2013 in Sales
Hi everyone

I make these and regularly sell them on Ebay.

ebaypic.jpg

Each on is tested on my machine, and they work really well. Also you can use two, some others sometimes are a little too big to allow this.

if you have any questions just post or send me a p.m.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=261159718234

if the listing url changes, I will be sure to amend it.

22/1/13 amended the EU postage rates for additional items, error in Ebay editor (grrr)

23/1/13 sold out, but a new batch has been listed.

Thanks to all of you that have already placed order for the adapter, It is meeting with very positive feedback.

As I sell these on Ebay, I have to pay for each one that I sell, this price has to be loaded on to the selling price, at the moment UK buyers enjoy free p+p soon on my Ebay listing I will have to charge 50p P+P to cover the final selling fee.

However, if you click the link in the auction page you can purchase one from my site for ?4.90 AND get free P+P in the UK

I have had feedback that confirms that there are other types of adapter that do not fit Port 1 on a speccy +2, this one does so please be advised.

just curious what you mean, what cartridge... what machine are you using the divide with ?

these (and others) just convert the signal back to atari standard that sugar tried to f'up to flog us crappo joysticks.

I have been asked by eBay to remove the link to my site from the auction, I don't have a problem with that, but remember that the postage is a little cheaper from the website.

What do these joystick adaptors actually DO? I'm curious. :)

They allow you to use Atari-type joysticks on your +2, +3.
The pinouts are different so you need an adapter or you can make a mod on the motherboard. :)

Fan-smegging-tastic! :) Sinclair/Amstrad trying to pull a Sony on the customers - pah! Think again. What colours do you offer them in? The more the merrier, but I'd even be happy if it were just black - pink? White? Cyan?

    He he

I managed to get enough black to offer it all the time, however I have some white, magenta, yellow, green and orange if you want.

    ;)

Hang on... what about compatibility issues? I can't have TWO Kempston Joysticks running at the same time.

You still select the Sinclair option. The Spectrum doesn't know you're using an adapter.

The adapter only works in ports 1 & 2 of a +2 +3 so this is not designed to work in an interface. If you are using an interface, you dont need one. I have some pictures on the website.
