I was thinking of making one, but as minimal skeleton.. e.g. tube metal or maybe out of wood, but not with the crazy big foot print.. the issue I thought of though was rotating the monitor , on like a swivel type thing.. as for say 1942 etc.. play better when you turn the monitor on it's side.

I have an x-arcade joystick and an old PC I could use , that'd be good enough for old arcade games.. but monitor wise, I figured get a cheapo TFT tv and use the vga :)

The only bit of the design I care about is the beer dispensing bit - the rest is easy.

Sorry, but that's just a persistent urban myth:

Anyway, I suppose this is fine for the lager/keg beer drinkers amongst us, but what if you're a real ale drinker? I want to see a cabinet with handpumps.

I suppose you could do a one armed bandit design with handpumps :)

Trust me its even better if you can have a beautiful woman bring the beer to you, especially if she is the one who brought the arcade machine for you. [/brag]

Electrocoin made a Xenon cabinet in which the monitor was housed in a rotatable disk behind the screen bezel. To swivel the monitor you just removed the locking bolt and rotated it one way or t-other.
