I'm not a big fan of Duran Duran, but I'd definitely have voted for A View to a Kill if it was on there. Since it wasn't, I voted for Hungry Like the Wolf.
The 80's. The decade that music forgot.
So erm, none of the above!
There was quite a good list of 80's music. I used to listen to a lot of 80's metal like Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, Whitesnake and Thunder.
I used to (or still do) like Level 42, their bass lines are awesome.
Sure there was a lot of rubbish produced in the 80's but I think on reflection it was a pretty good musical decade.
Plus in terms of good to bad records it's probably got a much better percentage than the 90's or recent years.
Couldn't agree more.
I even found myself getting all nostalgic over bloody Rick Astley the other day. I wouldn't choose to listen to S/A/W, but I wouldn't turn it off either... at least most of it's got more than 4 chords (unlike most of today's music, mumble grumble groan)
On the other hand could be rose tinted spectacle (hearing aid?) syndrome, I wasn't worried about being cool until the early 90s.
Anyway, in the absence of View to a Kill, I'll go for Is There Something I Should Know just for the nuclear war line.

Have you not played the official game by Domark then? OK it's 48k but I'm sure it had suitably plinky plonky pseudo-3 channel music.
