    Most of the rubbish being created today is just cover versions of the rubbish from the 80's :D

    The best music from the 80's is the stuff that didn't make the charts.

    husker du, sonic youth, my bloody valentine, public enemy, de la soul, beastie boys, dead kennedys, iron maiden, meat puppets, black flag, slayer/metallica/megadeth (would add anthrax to complete the 'big 4' but I was never into them).... just a few off the top of my head

    Well Hungry like the Wolf won by a whisker, so thats the one.
