Platoon credits

I did have a hand in designing 'Platoon'. Yes, the majority of the design was Simon Butler's but it was me and him bashing ideas together when he was given the job. I was lodging at his house at the time. I thought of the tunnel section and, as you can see by looking at some of the design specs, some of them are in my hand.

Only thought it be fair to me that I get a mention if no one objects! :)

Pics or it didn't happen :p
Oh, no. Every time you turn up something monumental and terrible happens.
I don’t think I have the stomach for it.

I didn't think to record the moment by taking a photograph. Is my hand writing not enough proof for you? ;p

very good movie. In its time all that hip-hop and fast edition gave me slight headaches.. but the story is rather good.

Yes, of course! If you did the work, you deserve the credit!

Mark, I heard you go on ebay.. and look for your games.. then tell people the people selling em, you worked on em...even though they didn't ask, in the first place... bet ya know molly sudgen as well, right ? (can't believe the latter, sorry)

I think the tea lady / wages clerk and all the other staff also deserve credit..

nah , I just found it REALLY funny that without being asked (that's the important bit) he told someone I know, he did the graphics for a game.. he just reminded me of it, with this posting. It was a few weeks ago and I'd pretty much forgotten about it .. So not gossip, if it's fact.. :)

So I got them to reply, they preferred c64 ocean artists ;)

the question is not if is true or not.. is that are personal messages. And I find it of bad taste... like the excessive colouring of that robocop image.

I didn't disclose the actual message , just the general tone of it.. try drawing on a c64 , you might actually get why the colouring is like that ;-) . The last bit about "molly sudgen" was a joke.. but if you didn't see it on british tv.. then it's lost on you (couldn't find a youtube link for you)

Hark at Fog "yeah, but on the C64..." here!

you have drawn on it also ? , so I'm sure you know about the rectangle pixels / colouring & tinting to help etc. did you not have an amiga? if so, what paid for it's development... not the c16 :)

go on then paint a better one :) ... that artist, "SIT" is easily in my top 10 (or at worst 20) of c64 loading screen artists. Next you'll be saying robin levy is a bad artist :)

Judas, tbh.. you don't known the full story.. if certain people want to write inane questions on ebay, then retract them, to waste people's time.. then yer I'll just reply back on here.. pity the "block bidder" function also doesn't double up with messages /dunce questions or being a general irritant etc as well.

Personally I have not interest in know the full story.

And yes, people can make whatever they want and retract themselves if they want, or not recract, and so on..
But, please, understand that point this with persons names is ugly. To me this is not gentile.

    Fog stop being a TIT.

I got into a conversation with someone over a Gryzor auction and mentioned I worked on it. That might be what you're rabbiting on about. I certainly did not msg anyone JUST to tell them I had worked on the game, there would have been a reason for me to send whoever it was a msg.

What's any of that got to do with you anyway?

Just grow up and stop acting like a child. You still at middle school?
