I doubt he worked on any spectrum games, as he was too busy with c64 stuff ;)

like snake-load (his loader) , narc and rodland etc.

Maybe I've misunderstood what you meant but whilst Steve Snake may have been more busy with C64 stuff he is clearly mentioned on the title screen for NARC and the loading screen for SWIV (well, as "Snake") for having done the loaders so.... errrrr.... I'm not sure how that means he didn't work on any Spec stuff?!??

I noticed this name on the Megadrive emulator I was using the other day. Is it the same person? It's called fusion.

Yeah, it's the same guy. I remember using Fusion back when it was KGen and then recognised his name on the Spec version of NARC. I'm sure I read somewhere that Sega paid him to produce legit emulations of some of their games... but I could be wrong.

    Anyway, a couple of links:

Just found this one as well and it confirms my memory ain't as bad as I thought ;)

as conversions go, it's a good job. thing is , I think of Steve Snake more of a utils programmer (like more.. who are actually unsung heros who made in house dev tools.. certain names at software creations also come to mind)

    don't own a ps2.. ya 32? bit heathen ;)

    yup, sorry. :)

Oh, and I'm sure no one denies an authors work on other platforms, just that it's not in keeping with the machine-specific threads. I'm more than interested in finding out about the games our heroes worked on for BBC micro, Amstrad, Oric, et all, in Chit-Chat.

Still, I'm glad you brought this up... cuz I'd not heard of "Steve Snake" before!

Learn summink new every day. :)
