The thingies're supposed to be eagles.
I rendered them using clipart (EAGLES) in Xara photo and Graphic Designer 7 and the birds're actually holding cans of my lager of choice Kronenbourg 1664 hence Kronenbourg 1664 (French lager) and Can Can being French.
