Modern rerelease of games?

Hello all,

I was wondering...

Should the WoS achieve also detail the modern approved versions of the Spectrum games?

E.g. Manic Miner is released on nearly all platforms and as it is emulated so it is still fundamentally the same game?

Elite Systems have over 100 games on the Windows 8 Store, and I've obviously also release Jet Pac and PSSST hence my interest...

I just thought it would be better to catalogue this kind of thing now rather than later...

    I sort of wondered about this too as I've ported a few across to another platform (Acorn) last year but I guess mine were not 'official'.

    Well, there is a "remake" section near the bottom of the listing, if the game has known remakes out there.

    Is that what you want, or something different/sameish?

    Remakes exist for the following games, I know I wrote them :oops: not had time for more the past year sadly.

    Galaxias, got perms from Fergus McNeill for this.

    Project X The Micro Man

    The O Zone (Micro Man 2)

    Sub Sunk

    Magic Castle (unable to find listing at the moment)

    You should let Martijn know about URLs to those remakes so he can add them to each game's listing.

    Thanks. Will sort out (there are links in two places currently) when I get a moment over the weekend. Not 100% sure which link to use, the wiki page (that I've neglected for a year) or the forum links with the attachments.

    That's the "problem" :)

    There's links at both, but more descriptive text and screenshots at the Wiki page. However the Wiki does not contain them all as I could not get my head around editing it, I had someone else do it for me.

    I sent a PM yesterday to yourself for clarification as I had a puzzle / concern although after a bit of thought I think I've sorted it so I'll do the correct linkages at the weekend :)

    EDIT... Sent specifics now with what info I thought relevant. Hopefully someone will reply to my mail at a point if more detail is needed (or to say "thanks but no!") :)
