Good games where time based input isn't required?
I'm looking for games that can be played on a tablet (7" galaxy Tab 2), and since I hate touch screen controls (I just can't get used to them), I want to avoid games where timing is important (i.e. most games, sadly), and just play games user input isn't too critically timed.
The games can be in any suitable format (Android, Flash/Java (assuming the tablet uses Java or Flash, come to think of it?), emulated) I don't care, just games where you can take your time entering your choice. Games under SCUMM are great (Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, etc), as are emulated Spectrum games like PSION Scrabble, Chaos, most adventures, Infection, etc), but games like the Android version of Carmageddon, Spectrum games like Skooldaze, Dynamite Dan 2, etc are out unless I can adjust to using touch screen input in real time.
Any game suggestions, please?

Those tile matching games are good for passing the time and are easy to control. I also have a decent Solitare game that's great for passing the time.
Being on dialysis, I'm always looking for decent games that are easy to control with one hand the other is tied up with dialysis needles)
Get yerself one of these and timing won't be an issue :D
Rebelstar
LaserSquad
Lords of Chaos
Viking Raiders
for Dosbox
Fallout and X-Com

Cogs - if you like puzzles and steampunk styling
Scrabble - Very good implementation (obviously not as good as Psion's version :) )
Dizzy, Prince of The Yolkfolk - May be a bit boring if you've completed it on the speccy.
Twisty - Infocom/Z-Machine Adventure Game Interpreter
Then you've got the SCUMMVM games that Bermondsey Bob mentioned.
It's single-player against the computer too rather than the EA one that's multiplayer only.
I might have to get this myself? It looks right up my street.
...Let's see? Yup also available for i-Phone.
I don't think that's out yet but Lords of Midnight is and is excellent!
More Fighting Fantasy games coming soon!
There are already a couple more available; Blood Of The Zombies and House Of Hell.
It's very simple to play, you just have to work out where the pieces go on the board - as long as you know the basics of Chess then you can play this game. The only problem was that my tablet wouldn't play it as for some reason flash doesn't play on Android versions as late as 4.1.1 due to support being dropped (I thought Flash was supposed to be universal), but I managed to find a page via google ( http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-tab-2-10-1/604836-unable-play-flash-iplayer-videos.html ) where the advice given was
1/(NEW)Download the file. Apk of Flash Player version 11.1-111115012: http://d-h.st/wPd
2/(26/08 NEW)Download the file flash_player version 11.1.115.17 : http://d-h.st/7Ds
And the Tab notice came up saying that I wasn't allowed to download from non android market. So I went to settings and changed the settings to allow that to happen and adobe flash player was installed. Once the flash was installed, I went back to set it back to the default setting which was to block downloads from non android market.
The flash player is still working and no effect whatsoever on the tab so far.
I did the above, then downloaded an SWF player and everything worked OK, so if you want to play Detective Chess or any other flash/.SWF stuff, the hopefully the above method will work for you.
What's that called, or where is it from, please? Searching by image isn't something google.com excels at...
Which keyboard would you recommend for the tablet, please?
You can find it here ewgf;
