    Well it's not job security then I guess, but it's better than what you were saying a while back.

    Who knows maybe your section is hanging on still for a good reason? You might be performing better than those getting the chop now?

    Had another announcement today, the Birmingham office is definately being closed and the remaining work will be split between the Glasgow and Manchester offices, we were also told we're getting more customers in the New Year so things are looking up.
    Once we transfer over to Vodafone i'll be asking for a pay rise, we're paid less than our Manchester counterparts!:sad:

    That's how it always is though, when I worked at WHSmiths the southern warehouse workers were on about 3 quid more an hour than we were.

    london waiting / premium ? or mags up there e.g. pigeon fanciers monthly weren't as expensive perhaps ? :)
