Apropos of nothing, but I downloaded Commander Keen 3 (published by Apogee, but written by id software) by FidoNet file request probably in 1990.

Apogee was a great company, I played almost all of their releases and liked almost all of them too.

Then they called themselves 3DRealms and started developing Duke Nukem Forever. We know the rest :(
