it always makes me smile the original version isn't really clean anyway and they used to play it in public places like shops.

At least the saving graces are Bob blatantly not being serious at the start and Grant having an outburst.

I wanted to add his cover of Silent Night, but I couldn't find a full version of that on Youtube, but, I did find that he's just released a new Christmas single, so have Jingle Hell from that (?1.58 well spent on iTunes if you ask me)

Also well worth seeking out is this album...

It's almost like he recorded it all in one take, drinking all the time as he starts off all jolly (Frosty the Snowman) and by the time Auld Lang Syne has rolled past he sounds like he's sloshed off his head :lol:

Nice choice. I saw Low in Nottingham Old Angel pub (think that's what it was called) in 1997. Good band, John peel used to play them

My oldest friend from school is always going on about Low, he's seen them loads of times. Our tastes in music diverged about 20 years ago (I think the last album we both liked was Boo Radleys - Giant Steps) so I've never got round to listening to them but I must put my prejudices aside and give them a try.
