Interesting read! specially as it talks about the Spectrum in a not so common place for it, Italy, where we actually dont know very much about what was going on those days with the Spectrum ;)

It was also useful to determine that Draught Genius was not written by Raffaelle Cecco, as Infoseek states, so I will open a thread to clarify it ;)

i remember i had pointed out the origin of the pippo character years ago, somewhere in the forum, adding a picture too. which in fact scared some users.

That'd be good - it's a great multi-stage game.

Before I came up with 'Bertrand Bubblethwaite' I was plotting out a Metroid-like platform adventure which could have played out as a sequel to that game.
