hotmail down on IE?

past few days I've been getting 'page cannot be displayed' when I go to Hotmail in internet explorer. it works fine on chrome and safari.

anyone else had this weird problem? googled it but can't find anything relevant

    just about works at work still (only place I use IE) but keeps telling me I need an update...which I can't do as I'm not an admin at work....but it still works, just a bit slower than normal

    So in summary - it was fine about 6 hours ago on an old version of IE

    hmm. downforeveryoneorjustme says it's just me as well.... I updated IE a couple of weeks ago, maybe it's ballsed up somehow, but just on Hotmail.

    You could try outlook.com instead. It's all basically the same service.

    ah... got straight through to my inbox. thanks :-)

    for some reason it must've just stopped redirecting me to outlook when I typed Hotmail in the address bar.
