Name this Game

Hi All,

The game in question is a Text/Graphic Adventure from the mid-eighties.
I think it appeared as a demo on a cover tape.
The screen is split vertically and you can switch between both sides.

Thank you.

I think I've found the game. It's called Double Agent. Though, strange how memories trick the brain. I could've sworn it had graphics.

Were there other games similar to this?

Tom Frost did quite a few other ones using his own adventure system including Gordello Incident and Gordello's Demise. The Lost Dragon used the same system to show the events of the Adventurer's Convention that formed the time limit in that game.

There were several games where you could switch between two different characters (but they weren't split screen) e.g. Desmond and Gertrude.

Looks quite interesting. As Strident mentioned there were multi character games, both arcade (e.g. Everyone's a Wally) and adventure (Lord of the Rings) but I hadn't seen that split-screen style before.
