You should get up on the roof and snake the gutters, it's dangerous but it helps...Don't do it alone though make sure you have a ground person to catch you. Especially on British roofs, those are actually a lot higher up than US roofs. you fall off a roof in the US you're gonna break a bone if you're really unlucky. You fall from a house in UK after snaking the drains, or even before you're probably gonna die.
Especially if it's a concrete floor, and terraced housing, even if it's detached, or semi detached it'll still hurt a lot. Be careful pulling the snake out of the guttering, I've seen people think they were good, and lose their balance.
Of course you could always hire somebody to snake your guttering, but those snakers cost money. Way more money than DIY.
I snake my own drains, but that's cos' I'm only gonna be falling about 20 feet if it all goes wrong. From the front of the house it's 10 at most, and I have bushes to cushion my fall.
Don't do a Rod Hull....Although to be fair he was trying to fix his TV not his water....
It's official I'm taking over for Bassy tomorrow as well, I'll be starting an hour earlier than him since I can't stay awake doing a show as long as he does. I'm thinking of doing 4 hours though but it's not official yet? If so I'll be sure to post it before it happens if it happens.
But Bassy usually starts at pm there. I'll be starting at 6 possibly 5, but definitely 6...Not 7...
US roofs are high if you live in a skyscraper, although if you fall, you have plenty of time to think of a plan before you land . I agree don't Emu-late Rod Hull, that sneaky bird is sure to pop up and grab your nuts while you are trying to find a sneaky snake who is hiding in your gutter, making you fall.

Well I'm putting todays show for later on together now, since I'm up really early on might as well get it done so I can sit on my arse for most of the day.
Still haven't decided if I'm gonna do a 3 hour show like Bassy usually does, or if I'm gonna do 4? I guess I'll see what I have on my list after I've got to about 3? It also depends if nobody else is playing before Bassy usually would?
Not sure yet? If I do a regular 3 hour show like Bassy does it'll be 6-9pm there, if I do 4 hours it'll be 5-9 there. I'm just filling in for the Monday DJ, cos' he's gone fishing.
He didn't show up yesterday when I was covering for mel either, so he'd better have caught a bloody shark or something!

The pen I used was supposed to be a permanent marker as well, so your hands will be blue forever, luckily the records were covered in plastic and bubble wrap, otherwise they would have been blue as well. I should have put a note in there saying that they were a gift, your wife will think you are buying more stuff from E-Bay and you will get your legs slapped !
Mary of the fourth form also came in a green and a blue sleeve as well, someone told me there was a yellow sleeve as well, but I have never seen one.
