With the resolution of high end/ modern TVs and monitors, just how much used would Lenslok be these days as the resolutions tend to vary.

Different resolutions are irrelevant, what matters is that the pattern be displayed the correct size so just scale it based on the DPI of the display. (relies on that being correct of course!).
