I know some folk knock Retro Gamer but I absolutely love it. Lose myself and relive my youth for a couple of hours. Still tend to have problems getting physical copies though as they fly off the shelves round here. Issue 109 that featured The Ultimate Years was a bugger to get hold off and in the end, had to order it from supplier. There wasn't even a pdf version of this either to my knowledge.
I don't give a f*** what anyone said about Retro Gamer, I like it and buy it religiously every month.
I agree. It's also the only magazine I buy. I do get it a week late because of the shipping to where I live (which sucks because Amazon can do it in 3 days, so why does it take a week for RG? ...cheapskates). But subscribing is definitely the easiest way. No fuss. :)
