I didn't realise it was the guy who wrote Mined Out, that was probably the best game that was written in BASIC.

The SAM version had some amazing music from Frantisek Fuka, which was actually composed by the coder Colin Jordan. Great game on all formats.

Splat was together with Jetpac the first original games I bought, and on both cases the inlay made me pick them. That silver inlay was just to tempting. Never regreated it, both games are still some of my favourites on the Spectrum
