Too many to mention. I had 200 songs from the 80s on my ipod last week, I think most of them would be right at home in this thread :D

I suppose the ultimate in cheese is any song with a sax solo:

Funny how Man Parrish went from Hip Hop Be Bop (Don't Stop) to that

actually this is probably my favourite cheesy song:

One of my earliest musical memories is listening to this and thinking what a sad-sounding melody it had. I would've been about 3...

    I prefer this version*

    * apologies if it turns out that the video lacks sound or something, because my PC speakers have just bit the dust in the last few minutes and I can't check it!

    I'll go with this one:

That was one of the songs in my 80s ipod collection. Didn't realise that was Jim Diamond on lead vocals until recently. I should've known better...

Speaking of cheesy songs, it seems there may actually be one entry in the Eurovision final less popular than the British one this year...

But for now, I'm gonna pick a couple of well known ones that I still listening too.

not sure I'd class Careless Whisper or If You Leave Me Now as cheesy tbh. they're quite deep/melancholy songs, for charty pop anyway...

I'm mildly embarrassed that I liked this. decent groove tho'

Only because charty pop these days is boring and sh*t. Listen to the opening bars of 'If You Leave Me Now'. "Woh woh wah woh wah woh woh wah waaaaah... ting!" It's pure audio Camembert.

And 'Careless Whisper' has got a f***ing saxophone solo! At the beginning!

I could've posted something like this, but it's just cheese overload, like a gorgonzola smoothie:

yeah that is cheese on toast. can't work out if Rod's supposed to be in love with the woman or with himself in the vid?

I like how he tells her to sit down about 5 seconds after she already sat down though, good timing
