Fantastic Voyage Sub Pieces

I have a question regarding this game.
They say there are 8 parts to the sub, but I only found the mouth one.

Do we have to destroy ALL the obstacles before we see the sub pieces? I have 40% completed in the game and I still can't find the sub pieces, even with the maps.
Help :(

Hiya,
As I remember, pretty much everytime you got a piece of the sub to the brain a tumour or infection would happen, usually blocking your route to the next part. As such, you HAD to find a white cell to destroy the tumour or infection to let you get through the body to the part ( a lot of one way routes)

Unfortunately I never finished the game, the last part was somewhere in the colon in the stomach, but for some reason could never get that piece in time.

I used to love this game, played it to death but only ever managed to get 7 out of the 8 sub parts. Only a year ago I had another bash on an emulator and found the same problem. Part 8 is nowhere to be found.

it's a real bummer.

On pondering, there were two releases of this game, fantastic voyage and then re-released as 'Blood and Guts' ( or the other way round ) - i wonder if the 2nd release fixed this problem???

The pieces are there, I can say that with absolute certainty because I have finished the game myself.

Blood And Guts was a pre-production version of Fantastic Voyage which was, to my knowledge, only distributed with the 30 Games compilation.
