I use Spectaculator with issue 3 keyboard.

Change your issue 2 keyboard to issue 3.

Thanks for the games, I don't know why it's a pleasure to change Horace's landing while he's flying.
Both games don't work emulating in 128k model, besides the controls don't respond with EmuzWin under 48k. Please consider to provide tap files.

A game should 'just work' with any keyboard and any machine. This didn't work for me in Spin either, and personally, forcing me to make changes to my configuration every time I touch something, just makes me want to never touch it again.

More Horace..! Quite playable, though I've only got to level 3 so far - the timing either seems to be very tight or very generous, so perhaps I haven't figured out the best routes round the screens yet.

Some of the jumping requires careful timing, and it took me a while to realise that you can "double jump" - when you hold down the jump/up key when jumping on a platform above you. It's a bit reminiscent of the first two stages in Horace & the Spiders where jumping can seem a bit erratic, and you have to time it just right. I think it's nice that it's got a similar feel though!
  • Cannot seem to get to the link now?
  • You can get it and all other recent Speccy games at http://speccy21.co.nr/

Just go to New Spectrum Games and search Horace Miner 2 :-)
  • Good show. Bloody hard though or am I just a crap games player :)
    Should I?

  • Aye it's a great site and very pleasing to see it grow, not my work though - it's hikoki's site.

Yes, very good. He must be embedding Google Sheets. Do you know if he is happy to discuss the technical aspects of how he achieved it?

Is the world missing out on a 'new ZX81 games' news site? I've been looking for some new to put on my web site.
This could be it! What do you guys reckon?
    Should I?

Lol there is no secret. it's made with awesome-table.com which you can embed not only on googlesites. Just read the documentation at
    https://sites.google.com/site/scriptsexamples/available-web-apps/awesome-tables
And see the example with google forms.
If you want to discuss more about this I think it's better to open a new thread.
You can find zx81 games at speccy1314.co.nr by typing zx81
