Are any of these worth holding onto for rarety/value reasons

Ive Made The Pics Public
A friend of mine was throwing away a small collection of games along with a +2 grey and a +128 toast rack and i just wondered if any of these are worth holding on to,As im new to collecting for the spectrum i have no idea how rare and the value of these games so would really appreciate more advanced spectrum collectors having a look and advising me.thanks.:D

    Please don't let your friend throw away the +2 and especially the toastrack:(. If you or your friend don't want them I maybe interested in buying them:).

    damn I'm down to my last 3 twix's.. rolo's ?

    a lot of it is common, well known stuff like gauntlet.. there is 1 title that I have also , that isn't so common.. well maybe 2.. but I have both, so if I have em , they aren't that rare.

    some people are rather selective in what they collect also and won't buy budget re-releases e.g. commando etc :)

    it is a nice collection to get started with for sure, it's not rocket science folk seem to go a bit silly when it comes to the ultimate stuff.. but well there are other games by other companies i like more.

    not gonna give any values, as it's subjective.. I have seen some titles listed at 4 times what I would bother to pay for em.

    Here's a handy-dandy alphabetical list. I can't see the title of one in the 1st pic, as only the spine is visible, which just says "CODEMASTERS The UK's Best Selling Software Company". The 4th pic is just part of the 1st pic from a different angle. They're all standard cassette case, mostly budget/re-issue, versions. There's nothing rare, but I wouldn't throw away any of them even so - what else would a Spec-chum say?

    I suppose that Ultimate releases and Chuckie Egg are worth a bit more.

    And what is Jet-man? Lunar Jetman?

    It's Lunar Jetman, and yes, I agree that the Ultimate ones are worth a "bit" more than most of the others, but they're the earlier / fairly common ones and unless they're in mint condition they're still not going to be worth all that much if you were looking to flog them. You'd get a few quid though.

    The unknown Codies tape is the 4 game compilation one given away with this issue of Crash...

    If you just want to keep some good ones then I'd definitely keep Roller Coaster as that's a great game. You might want to keep the 128k toastrack to play it on as on the later models there's a graphics bug on a couple of the screens that causes you to fall through platforms and it's due to it relying on the original unmodified Sinclair ROM in some way.... or something like that.

    All those games look in very good condition and it would be such a shame to see a collection like that end up in the bin.

    Thanks for the replies guys.Ill keep the Hardware And the games and add to them in that case.How can i tell the difference between budget and rereleases And older Original ones?The Ultimate Games Are Mint So Will Keep those anyway as i may create a piece of retro art using them.Richl said that they are the older ones the only others ive seen are the ricochet releases and the silver label ones,are the silver labeled ones more collectable?Ive been to see the spectrums this aft and the toastrack has never been used and me opening the box today was the first time it had been opened since bought in the 80`s it even still smelled new inside the box.He told me he has a little external keyboard for it that plugs in apparently but i thought the toastrack was the keyboard and dare not plug something in im unsure about:???:

    Just from having a quick glance at the pics the budget stuff you've got are on these labels...

    Budget originals: Firebird, Mastertronic / M.A.D., Code Masters

    Budget re-issues: Kixx, Hit Squad, Encore, Americana, Alternative, Summit, Pick 'n' Choose

    As for the silver Ultimate ones, they're worth loads more than the non-silver ones. Mint condition they can fetch pretty good money.
