For fans of the (original) Wickerman film...
On my way home from a stag do at the Wickerman Festival yesterday (which was cracking), I decided to take a tour of filming locations in and around Dumfries and Galloway, and took a few photos. A few of the locations I had already been to at some point in my life, but a few, such as the interior of the Green Man Inn, I hadn't visited. I had fun, until it started pishing down...

And I was going to take a wander around Culzean Castle yesterday, as it was also used in the film; I was taking that road home to Glasgow, but I had been driving for about 10 hours, and just wanted to get home. Another day.

Is that the older one, or the newer one? I've heard the newer one is the "definitive" cut, even though it's shorter than the Director's cut.

And going by the usual Bond test of not knowing your wines, he's clearly an imposter as he should know the Corfiot winery is 'Theotoki', not 'Theotaki' when he turns down the Robola. ('Aspro', btw, is simply Greek for 'white').

reminds me I've had the 'directors cut' of wickerman sat on my dvd shelf for over a year, should give it a watch really.
