According to David Martin (Martech boss) and Jas Austin (one of the coders on the game) it was never completed let alone released.

hm should have asked him..
Screen 7 died around that time so I assume Steigar went south because of that.

But still they managed to release the C64 version... I remember liking the cover of the game, and I thought I had been released, but it turned out to be an Unreleased game...

That happened a few times...like with Rex not getting a C64 release. It's because martech used outside coders who often would not have multi-cpu experience and therefore would not do multiple versions and it would be left to martech. By that time I'm guessing they didn't have the finance to do that. Or interest. But who knows. I'll ask David.
