New Game : Godkiller
Hi guys !
Here is my first Spectrum game using The Churrera by the Mojon Twins, many thanks to Neil Parsons for the awesome music & Na_than (Mojon twins) by their fantastic support.
Your wife has been killed by a god ..You have been reborn as a godkiller..
traveling through space & time you will achieve your revenge
Now you are in the temple of Mnar, in the mythical land of MU - 9500 bc
Yo must find ten souls & three sacred objects to make a sacrifice & open a time gate.
Be careful ... the temple is full of supernatural beings, use the keys to open the sacred doors of Mnar
& awaken the power within you ....

by lack of time many things (intro,etc) are not completed, my holydays ends soon :( , but the game is fully playable.

The original game concept was planned for a plattform style gameplay using AGD :-) , maybe the next game uses a sideview plattform style , the Churrera Engine have 2 modes , topview & sideview :)
your collection of horace games using different engines is amazing, a friend of mine that love horace games says : this man (alessandro) uses different engines ?? rocks !! :D
Yes, of course not all at once ;)
Parts 1 and 4 are developed with Churrera 3.99.3c. The first implements the platform side view. the fourth, like your game does, that thing the Mojons call "perspectiva genital" :D
Part 2 is developed with Shoot Em Up Designer 1.0 plus some integrated code in order to correct some bugs of the engine (thanks to Jonathan for sheding light upon them).
Part 3 is the one being developed now, with AGD 4.4 - version 4.5 unfortunately has a couple of nasty bugs I already told Jonathan about.
Plus self-written code snippets for the intro, outro, loaders etc.
By the way, I am waiting to see the final version of Godkiller as well :)
I also once did a first release and later an enhanced, 128K-only "Director's Cut" for one of my games (Apulija-13).
The next chapter , an adventure in PAWS :)
...So I'm guessing it's impossible to actually 'finish' this version..? I've collected these objects:

You must to collect 10 souls and three objects, go to the "pozo de almas" / tumba de almas" , use action key in the orb to make the sacrifice , then return to first screen and pulse action in the first orb to finish the game.

For the the director?s cut think i will boost the diffcult level !!!! ;)
To be honest I'm a bit bored and tired with Churerra but this one stands above the average level. Nice graphics and good playability.

Ah, a spoiler... :razz:
I especially like the trick with mountains, which turns 2d game into a little more 3d. It would be really good if water was animated (if Churerra allows such tricks).
The game has a nice setting and a good plot, but in game you barely understand what's happening. Some text messages with plot details or main hero thoughts would be really-really nice (especially after picking up items).
Anyway, it's a nice game, thanks a lot!
Thanks ! , the original Godkiller script was designed for other gameplay style, it?s a game planned in spanish, I?m translating the manual & the game text and very soon I post it. :)
