    RIP

tbh Sonic Flower Groove is the only Primal Scream album I really like, but it looks like he played on that one.

Yeah haven't heard the first two albums but he played bass on that, then switched to guitar for the second self-titled album. He also did the vocals on 'Slip Inside This House' off Screamadelica...

They were a bit of a Marmite band really, some people didn't like the way they changed their style for every album but hey, it worked for Bowie and Madonna.

I really wasn't keen on 'Give Out But Don't Give Up' at the time, it just sounded dated - but loved bits of 'Vanishing Point' and 'XTRMNTR'.

yeah on Give Out... they sounded like they were trying to be the Black Crowes iirc

their first album is like a good version of stone roses first album. (yeah I know everyone loves that but I don't)

the 2nd one is more straight ahead blues-rocky. it's ok.

do actually like the odd track here and there off all their albums I've heard, just never been a massive fan except that first album

NO!? now thats a shock :(

i was never into the early primal scream, bit too shoegazy for my liking and they passed me by but from screamadelica etc on i loved em

specially the more rocky element and the hard electronica element

vanishing point was a great great album when it came out, love it still
