Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly.

I gather that the folktronica musician Sam Duckworth's stage name 'Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly' was inspired by a Spectrum game (one of the Batman titles I believe), does anyone know the full story?

    Apparently he got it from an article on Batman in Your Sinclair, looked for it, cant find it though...

    Ooh, I know this - from the horse's mouth, since I interviewed him/them many years ago.

    Inspiration for the band name came from one of the early Live Publishing-era editions of Retro Gamer. The bold heading "Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly" featured in an article about adventure games, relating to Superman (appears also in the first RG anthology). Whoever named the band was flicking through a friend's copy of said mag.

    So that's that one sorted then.

    Because it's edited by the general public and frequently contains information that's wrong, especially on relatively obscure topics.
