If it's £50 back home then I know it's at least $65 here...
If so I'll wait a while.
It's $80 here.. Seems to be the new standard price for day 1 releases. Fallout 4 is $80 as well, but I've seen flash sales where it was 50% off a few times. The new Deus Ex is going to be $80. Etc.
The only Day 1 I'm really interested in right now is Persona 5, but if they make that $80 as well, I might hold off a while - and it's more than likely going to be next year at this rate.
They only had pre-owned left, which normally I wouldn't touch but Hello p***ed me off with the PC version being incompatible with my machine, and I took in some games I hadn't touched in years. Thought I'd be lucky to get a tenner for them and they accumulated to £26 - sweet!

Jeez it may be more than $65 here than as I'm pretty sure the Canadian Dollar isn't that weak against the US Dollar right now.
They can sod right off for that price I don't care if it's the game that lasts forever :))
Oooh, lucky man. I think I worked out for a decent PC I needed 1500 quid. PS4 sounds a lot cheaper. One day my friends I will upgrade... One day.
When did you work that out - 1998? :-)
You can build a gaming rig which is more than capable of playing the latest games, at medium to high settings, @1080P for < £500. This link has a few builds to give some ideas.
Went out clutching my £50 of crisp new notes, when I got there they told me it was only £10, so I sped home to travel the universe, however ! I had picked up the wrong game, I had bought Norman's Sky, the platformer about a guy called Norman who is having trouble with his Sky TV.
Gutted ! :))

Every time I read that the oldest person in the world has died, I have to do a quick check to see it isn't ME..........
I'm enjoying playing it despite some of the negativity that is being chucked around the Internet. It's not perfect (yet), but if you like the idea, then you are more likely to enjoy it.
I used to buy a whole bar of Cadbury's chocolate for 3d, that is 1 1/2p, the most I ever got was half a crown for my birthday 25p by todays standards. Then they expect £59 for a game, when I was 18 I was earning £16 a week, they must think we are mugs ! ;)
I would have to sell the children to the rag and bone man to even afford it, although I would probably have to pay him to take them away !

Medium to High, that isn't good enough ;). And I bet you've got one of those really dodgy graphics cards from China (Yeah I know they all are, but don't ruin a good wind up) bought from a so called 'Compute Fair', good luck when it explodes and takes you PC and house with it. he he.
Well I haven't got off the first planet yet... (on purpose) just messing about with all the settlements, drop pods ruins etc (scanning is fun and feeding animals is cute) so yeah fallout lasted 10 months and I still have far harbor and nuka world to do but this is cool.....could do with a buggy (ala Lunna jetman)
just to add I jumped about a few planets but didn't see the point when the first one is huge and has plenty to see and do. (so why jump to a nearby moon, find 1 base and then jump to a planet the size of Jupiter , find 1 base etc) when the start planet is full of stuff. (come on how many people fixed the ship and whooooosh off we go...to infinity and beyond....) :)

Computer Fair?!! You really are stuck in the 1990's ;-)
Anyone building a new PC and possibly thinking about VR in the future should look at the spec requirements for the HTC Vive etc rather than a game requirements. Min is an i5-4590 with 16gb and a GTX970...or better.
I had the game pre-ordered on Steam. I was lucky I suppose as I have not had any major issues right from the start. My computer was built to meet HTC Vive spec though and I do own one of those as well. The only annoying thing is that I can't find any atlas passes. I must have missed something when I first started because apparently there is something the voice says to you at the start about it? It is not straight forward to start a new game from scratch either and at this point I would hate to do that.

when you start , you have your ship that's buggered, a space capsule thingy with a blueprint and a cauldron with a cryptic description about ATLAS. You can then choose two options. (if you examined the cauldron that is)
1. follow the path to ATLAS.
2.err don't follow the path to ATLAS.

So does that mean I can't follow the path to Atlas now? I just fixed the ship and buggered off, I don't remember seeing anything else.

Loving this game!
Gutted ! :))
I like that one Mr Shanks, I mean Dunny !
I thought he was Armitage?
(As in [Roy]al Doulton).
I bet he is tired of trying to fight the Cistern.
I pre-ordered this for £59:
So you will all starve next week I take it !

So actually an on topic post... indirectly..
Blimey. I wasn't aware he was involved. Glad to see he's still in the game development loop.

Definitely good to hear of his involvement.
Don't you still have those dodgy fairs?
