Looking for a bit of advice, some years ago a friend i lost touch with gave me a cassette of various heavy metal songs and one was a live version of the Testement track 'Burnt offerings'. I've tried to find the song on Youtube but can only find the studio version, does anyone know which album the live version was on, i couldn't find anything on t'internet.
I lost touch about 20 years ago with the guy who gave me the cassette.

There are three live versions of Burnt Offerings on different albums:

Live at Eindhoven (both the EP and the later issued full album)
    Live at the Fillmore
    Dark Roots of Thrash

It's probably not the last of those three, as that's a much more recent release, but it could be either of the first two.

If you had a copy on tape and it was an original (e.g. not taped off a CD by your friend!) then it's the Live at Eindhoven EP almost certainly, as the other 2 releses mentioned in this thread were CD releases.

The live EP has never been released on CD, but a remastered version of "Live at Eindhoven", which features the band's entire performance and different cover artwork from the vinyl, was released on CD in 2009 under the title "Live at Eindhoven '87". It's on Prosthetic Records and I dare say eBay or Discogs would have a copy up for grabs!
