Last Week I rode over Hardknott Pass

    Hardknott Pass...sounds like something out of Skyrim.

    But then I remembered that you are real (I think) and that Skyrim doesn't have Audis in it.

    The day after my brother passed his PSV test, the company he was working for had him drive a double decker bus over a route that took him over Hardknott Pass.
    Amazing bit of driving (and a hell of a motorcycle ride, THX. :) )

    Having been driven over it, and driven it myself, I'd imagine there's a bit of urban myth there.


    There simply is parts of that road, that a bus could not get through, as a part of it would hit the ground:-

    Some simpleton tried to drive a Spar truck over it in 2003, they needed helicopters to drag it back down.

    The whole episode was then hushed up for some reason...
