I've not had the chance to test it yet Ivan but i'll do it either later tonight or tomorrow and post back as many details about this as I can.

Btw, if anybody wants to archive this, i'd be happy to post this off.

Loaded the game up. It's a very simple game, the aim being to collect blocks at the bottom of the screen and take them to the top, avoiding the Octopi (Octopus's... Octopus'..?)

No loading screen, and each side of the cassette contains multiple copies of the same game (5 each side.) It's also written entirely in BASIC (can be broken into) and nowhere does it mention the author of the title - just (C) 1984 Hansesoft.

Forgive the quality of the images btw. Taken on my phone.

    Game Initialisation:

    Title Screen:

    Game Screen (Demo Mode):

Seeing as this should be in the archive, and I don't have the ability to TZX this or even scan the cover, volunteers for the task would be welcome.

    Good spot!

And it is even preserved but we would still need the inlay and instructions.

Hmmm should this be a hack or a re-release from the German company? ;)

Well, Balloon Hopper got its listing printed in Your Computer magazine (september '83, according to WOS; this german release is dated in 1984). The only chance I could think of is if Your Computer sold rights to others for foreign releases (say Investr?nica?). In the end, other releases of this same program are there in.
