ASM80 online IDE
Saw this on hackaday, an online retro computer IDE with compilers for various CPUs, and also built in emulators for various systems, including the Spectrum.

I've toyed with the idea of having an assembler integrated into Zero but have come to the conclusion that there is no point in re-inventing the wheel especially since there are already quite a few capable assemblers out there.
Instead I was wondering if I should "integrate" an existing Z80 assembler, if that's possible. Does anyone know if there are any decent z80 assemblers that provide any such hooks like returning compile errors, assembler output etc. I know it's possible to parse the standard output from an assembler to do something like the above but I was wondering if there is a cleaner/easier way.

LD A,255
then after compiling it said:
unrecognized asm type
oh its cos I didnt save it as a .z80 file
My memory is a bit foggy,
is this how you draw a little line to the screen?
LD A,255
LD BC,16384
LD (BC),A
Also to load in a program you need a basic loader,
the emulator on the webpage doesnt seem to have the option to attach a basic loader
