Why because I happened to say b*llocks about you making a ridiculous speculation that I've been living in a f**king bubble?

no, because you replied "Now you got me thinking? How? Really? How?" to a statement that terrorism is inevitable; and I'll add, unavoidable

What is inevitable is the action.

Are you that dim to raise the question of the exact location and nature of a future crime simply from the inevitability of a future action. The mind boggles. Average Joes indeed.

Arrogant is the word that springs to mind. There are a couple more, but I like it here...

I was referring to this particular incident, not terrorism in general.

Which before you go off on another one, you didn't specify.

hate way anyone who questions any aspect of the official story is automatically a tin foil wearing lunatic. there's no such thing as unbiased news reporting, everything is fed from a certain angle or perspective, no matter how slight. tbh my bull**** detector went off immediately about one particular aspect of this event but I'm not even going to bother saying what cause I can't be arsed to start arguing/writing essays on here - all I will say is tons of other people seem to have noticed it too - but my point is, if you think events like this can't be presented and moulded by the media into shapes that differ vastly from what is 'really' happening, then you're deluded.

you've conflated two things: "an official story" and "news reporting"

As far as I am aware, there has been no "official story" as to what is happening in France.

It is obvious there is no such thing as unbiased news reporting, it is also true that our (including yours) questioning of the news story will be just as biased, if not more so.

no cos politics and religion causes all sorts of **** on forums

All I can do is echo the sentiment of sadness, which follows the extremely unhinged resolve of these savages.

It is not that strange that this should happen, just like the passport of a " terrorist " which survived the 911 crash, the burning and falling building, but is picked up off the street with very little damage. Perhaps it is so that we " know " who to blame, it seems that the done thing is to keep people scared and running, that way they will fail to see the big picture.

And it works so well, to a deeply-rooted psychological degree. I’m not sure there’s a big-game plan, just that people in control make their moves and sit back to see the result. We’re always being tested. Sometimes it’s subtle, and sometimes there is a brutal manipulation of events. Either way it makes no difference to the order of the world as it stands, but I believe that there are people out there who watch our reactions – as it may be of use to them in the future.

That’s not to say that the whole event (whichever event you pick) is a fabrication or “inside job,” I don’t believe that, but key elements are occasionally added, removed, or changed, whether intentional or not, and used as a sort of, human psyche survey.

News reports say that both locations were stormed by security forces.

Apparantly all hostage takers killed (how convenient! ;) - but to be expected more or less, I guess), and at least some (all?) hostages walked away.

Are you seriously this far up your own arse?

Saying what is inevitable is the action is like saying everything that happens is unavoidable, which is true and false at the same time depending on how you perceive it? Your brand of pragmatism is obviously skewed beyond belief, either that or since I'm just an average Joe speaking to a beacon of vast intelligence possibly only rivaled by a demi-god is way too advanced for my feeble comprehension.

I bow down to your mightiness, and can hopefully bow out of this thread before your further insults make me say something that karingal will probably ban me for.
