For me, the most used ones would have to be:
MAMEdox (Arcade/NeoGeo on the Xbox) &
WinUAEx (Amiga emulator on the Xbox)

Whattaya got?

I've been using an old copy of Steem a lot recently, plus MAME32. I've got to get my Rainbow Islands fix every few days or I get ratty.

WinAUE for the miggy and Hox64 (the only 64 emulator that does perfect 50hz smooth scrolling)

I do pretty much all my emulation on the OUYA these days. These are the non-Speccy emulators I use on it:

    Amiga: UAE4All
    SNES: SNES.emu (based on SNES9x)
Genesis/Megadrive/Master System: MD.emu (based on Genesis Plus GX)
    NES: NES.emu (based on FCEUX)
    GBA: GBA.emu (based on VBA-M)
    C64: C64.emu (based on VICE)
Atari 2600: 2600.emu (based on Stella)
PC Engine: PCE.emu (based on Mednafen)
Neo Geo: NEO.emu (based on Gngeo)
    Arcade: MAME4Droid

    Here's a few I mess around with.

Fusion for my Sega stuff used to use a selection of different emu's at one time, but this does everything from MS up to 32X, pity it doesn't do the Saturn though, still waiting for the day a half usable Saturn emu pops up.

SNES 9x or ZSNES for the SNES.

MAMEUI64 for my old arcade goodness.

    VBA for GBA.

ePSXe for PSX/PS1 I mainly play real discs with this though, as I can play my UK PS games using it.

I have others but rarely play them now, like I used to use Neoragex at one time for my Neo-Geo stuff, but MAME will run Neo stuff at full speed on this PC, I don't even have it on here at the minute.

MameUI64 for arcade gaming - 0.149 (for Cave shmups.)

I guess (as fog said about Taito Legends) Sega Megadrive Ultimate Collection + Wonderboy in Monster World, as it's all done through emulation. Not so much Fusion now, for those reasons.

WinUAE, Spin and Snes9x very very occasionally (have them, just don't use them much now.)

MameUI64 for the odd arcade game
Daphne for the laser disc stuff (Dragon's Lair and Super Don Quix-Ote mainly)
DOS Box, but only really with the games I've bought on Steam that use it. I have it set up on my laptop, but I find it a bit awkward to use at times, so I only run the few games I want to with it.
Future Pinball for the odd pinball machine, but I prefer Pinball Arcade on my PS4 these days.
PinMAME for the tables that are not made on Future Pinball (WWF Royal Rumble and Haunted House)
MESS via my Hyperspin frontend as it's used for many different machines. If I can ever work out how to use it properly as a standalone emulator, but point it to my ROMS so I can use it like Mame32, the that would be brilliant. But, I've not had much luck yet

Yeah I'll be honest I mainly use Fusion for playing Sega Stuff I know I'm not going to get hold of. With the Genesis games I've bought here, and me bringing back all of my Megadrive games from England over my last 2 trips there, I once again have quite a nice little 16 bit Sega collection. Still a load of games I want to get again, but I know I never will :(

But I do really like sitting in front of a TV playing Megadrive games on an actual Megadrive (Or Genesis in this case), makes me feel all warm and fuzzy like I'm 13 again

Mame, running on an dual core XP computer, with Hyperspin fron end.

It boots straight into Hyperspin. You would never know it's a windows PC.

I built it for the old Arcade machine that I had in the UK. Now I plug it into my big HD TV, sit on the couch and waggle my joystick.

One day I plan to build a coffee table with a flat screen beneath the glass. I've had it messing with CRTs. They are just not worth the hassle.

We had one of those AT Games Megadrive things at work yesterday, and I NEARLY took it home (some great built-in games, slot for proper MD carts too.) Then I plugged it in to have a look, booted up Streets of Rage II, shortly before dabbing blood away from both ears. I have no idea how to embed youtube video here, but if you look for a video of one of these devices, you'll know exactly what I mean. Suffice to say, it's back in the shop window

I'd love to get an original at some point, but (maybe it's just me) but retro game prices have been slowly creeping up again, so i'm happy to miss out on a few faves and play the ones available on PSN.

    STeem - no (distant) relation.

I only bother emu'ing Speccy, Miggy and ST stuff.

My Genesis is one of those AT Games things I think? Although the sound is fine on mine? The graphics do look a little sketchy on the pre-loaded games, but strangely enough real carts seem to display just fine. Flashback still looks great, and although Pitfighter looks sh*t anyway it looks as good as it did when it was new.

I think a lot of the display is to do with the fact I have quite a large HD TV, and the sound being terrible when you tried it might be down to the machine being set up for America, as I remember seeing a vid online where somebody got one, and there's no form of conversion for other regions. So it may actually be playing at about 20% faster than it's supposed to be? Again for the display I've got a CRT TV upstairs, which strangely I only just remembered about whilst listening to mel's punk show last sunday

Haven't tried it on that yet, but I assume it'll improve it vastly, also the 80 pre-loaded games is as big of a lie as the cake. There's 40 decent MD games on there, and 40 complete piece of sh*t homebrew type games....although make that 39, I think one of them is actually quite fun? Maybe?

My dodgy Nintendo duo thingy actually doesn't look that bad on my TV because as well as the tri-pin TV cables it comes with an additional RF cable type thingy, which smoothes the picture out quite nicely so you don't have to fiddle with the TV to stop it from looking like stickle bricks.

Well, tbh, it's more the sound quality that I noticed - I only tried it with the one game, SoR2, and while it sounded 'ok' initially, everything after (and including) the character select screen was slower, out of tune - sounded bloody awful lol - the picture was fine though, it looked excellent. I agree about the quality of the games there, only half of em really are any good (unlike the Master System TV thing, 30 games, most of em great, with good picture and perfect sound.) If it's still there next week, i'll test it with some original carts, see if the sound is proper that way. If it's been sold, i'll expect it returned at some point

Anyway, this is the bit of kit: and it sounds bloody awful with the pre-loaded games - skip to 2m40s for some Sonic styled aural assassination

And it's only slightly better on cartridge (very slightly...)

    Jeez that is rough :o

Yup that's the one I've got, but it really doesn't seem as bad as it does in that vid, although like I say it is far from perfect. Good thing is I don't think I paid anywhere near $39.99 for it?

    Speccy emulator - ZXSpin.

Also use SpudACE, EightyOne, QemuLator, VICE, BeebEM and NewBrain Emulator Professional.

Although not an emulator as such, I also use BASin

BeebEm, for BBC Micro Emulation, and various Commodore 16 emulators, depending on the platform I'm using. I'm looking for a decent DOS based emulator for the C16/+4, but the only one I've found so far runs too slowly on the computer I have.
