some ebay sales

edited February 2015 in Sales
hi
I'm putting some rare Spectrum titles on ebay, including El Misterio del Nilo.

I'll put some Dee Kay train sims up tomorrow.

wasn't sure if you are aware.. you don't have to start auctions for 99p now ?

I see it a lot, but obviously the postage on the others is making up for the short fall they assume.. but they are getting hit 2 times instead.

thanks, fog. I am used to the 99p thing, wish they didn't keep changing it.

Apologies for the thread hijack, but how does that work? Plan to sell some stuff this year, haven't really sold on ebay before.

it's tricky as it depends what type of account you have.. they give you 20 items a month free *BUT* you can auto relist for free. Sometimes it's 1 free relist.. other times it's 2 (making 40-60 items a month)

before the items had to be under ?1 (99p) to qualify for free listing.. that isn't the case now.

also before postage was treated as a separate entity, now if you charge postage.. you get charged a fee on the postage and the sale itself.. so either include the postage cost OR do arrange courier *after* payment with the price, for small items i include the postage in the item price.. I don't feel ebay should be charging that fee, as they aren't standing in the post office queue for me ;)

postage gougers caused the postal charges pretty much.

the only aspect I like now, is that it hides duplicate listings from buyers.. so I can edit in my own time and only when they change do they show up.

if they did it so my unsold , phone and turbolister synced up.. then it would make life easier.
