Thank you for linking the Bo Jangeborg article. It translates very well with Google.

Also talks about the troubles he had with that particular software house that shall not be named.

Thanks for letting us know about this, it's very interesting. Tim Langdell (the boss of Edge, who published Fairlight 1 and 2) is responsible for so much bad stuff over the games - not only did he treat Bo Jangeborg very badly, but he also released Fairlight 2 in an incomplete state, and put Bo off making a Fairlight 3 (it was supposed to be a trilogy of games).

Plus Mr Langdell also stopped Rich Jordan's fantastic PC remake of Fairlight. To be fair, that was Mr Langdell's right (assuming he holds the copyright over Fairlight, and not Bo), but it was very ungenerous, and the ******y stuff he's done before (in his dealings with Bo, and later on the way he tried to make money over every use of the word "edge" that he could find) seems to make it very clear that he denied Rich the release of the PC version of the game for selfish reasons and not because he (Langdell) was planning/hoping to release a PC version himself.

I'm talking to him very soon for my book, as it happens. That's particularly interesting to read, in light of that.
