I've just started getting into the Moody Blues, and realize how what great production values they had. Dare I say the Beatles get all the credit for pushing the envelope in 1967, but Moody Blues 1967 album "Days of Future Passed" is pretty special too.

Yeah i have that on CD, a great mix of rock and classical music. It's possibly the first ever prog album.
I live in Wolverhampton (despite being a Baggies supporter) and he's still talked about in revered tones. I remember my grandad (another Baggies supporter) talking about how good he was.
Another one of the '66 legends gone. I think it's a shorter list to name those that are still with us.
Can't believe it either, I'm in shock :( must've known him maybe 15 years on here, again not in person though.
thought the post was a pisstake post until I found no punchline and his missus had signed it

I was thinking the exact same thing Mel as I read the start of the post, but my heart sank as I continued reading. It's a shame. He was such a big part of #speccy when I first joined, over 20 years ago. He was there every night. Last time I met him was at the 2016 Carlisle meetup, I should've met him again at the Manchester meet the following year but I couldn't make it cos my dad was seriously ill in hospital at the time.
He was gonna come to the next meet too but it's been on hold cos of covid, and now he won't get to come to another one :(

I like some of their stuff - he was one of the original members of the band.

That bloke is just an attention seeking ass, like most of them these days,
I hadn't seen that video before. Two of my facebook friends died..in the space of 12 hours more or less. Astonishingly sad.
