What was this type-in space shooter game
I'm fairly certain this game was a type-in, probably from Your Computer.
A moonscape would draw itself in green across the screen, and some silos coloured in at the bottom. A single UFO would then drift across the screen from left to right, steadily getting bigger. As it passed over a silo, it would sap some of your energy from it. You had a gun sight which could shoot the UFO, but would cost energy to move and shoot.
I loved this back in the day. It looked something like this :
