  • Hi. Can I suggest you turn off the background music in the podcast. It's very distracting. Also any chance of a straight mp3 version?

Seconded (even though it is Spectrum tunes) and errrr ummm removal.
I have perfect hearing..... I find background music on commentary - however quiet, a major unwanted irritation that ruins many programs.

  • Thanks for the feedback and I will try and do a MP3 version and maybe put it in the S4E archive for people to download. As for the music in the next podcast i will try it without the music.

Thanks Morcar. I've also tried watching some of your videos today. Having the program loading in the background is again not great when trying to focus on your voice and I dont see any reason for it. Do you write a script or just do it off the cuff? Thanks

  • Not sure how you can have a comprehensive guide to a product which isn't even off the drawing board yet.
I wanna tell you a story 'bout a woman I know...

That was all off the cuff although i know what your talking about with the loading noise and its something I am going to deal with. Most likely at the end of the month now as i have already done all the ultimate game for this month. Most of the formula though i have changed for the midweek videos which i make as i need them. So check out this weeks as you might find those better. I know I did.
  • I don't think I could watch more than two minutes of that video, so I skipped through the rest and was done in 3 minutes. Too much waffle for me. You should look to Paul-J for inspiration on how to do it right. Or of course - just wait until there's enough information to warrant a 30 minute video.

  • ok this is a fixed video with louder audio i hope this helps.
Thanks again for all your comments as it helps me in making these videos better for all of you.

  • Btw, I was a "bit" critical of your first video :D ...but it *is* your first after all, so I have no doubt that you'll improve with every video you make. It was just a shaky start (imho). Keep on cracking on. :)

No problem really as i take everything with a notepad for later on. If you feel something is wrong please let me know and I can see what can be done.
