RIP. He was great as Cato, as Vampyre says. Those scenes were always the same, more or less, and you always knew what was coming, and yet it was always hilarious, because the two actors did such a fantastic job of it.
A big loss. I first saw him as Cato, then in the Bond films, then as one of Harry Hill's side kicks.
He is great and will always be remembered... As Cato :)
That clip was great, but whoever clipped it started it too late, they should have shown Clouseau (had to google for the spelling!) searching for Cato, then concluding that Cato was absent, and so Clouseau relaxing and letting his guard down. Happened in every film, and was always hilarious!
Peter Sellers was a fantastic comedian.
I wonder if today's kids have seen the Pink Panther films?
Although it's terribly sad he's gone I had a vision yesterday that made me smile - Burt sneaking through the clouds ready to give Peter Sellers a good chop to the neck...
Thanks for all the memories Burt. Think I'll be having a Pink Panther marathon over the long weekend.
