+2a Power Supply Refurb Service
Over the last 3 years or so, I've had two PSUs fail on me and was wondering if there is any way they could be repaired and got back into circulation.
Ideally, what I'm looking for is a go-to hardware person like Atari-Freakz for the ST who I could buy a refurb PSU from and send him my dead ones for the cost of P&P and then he could replace the capacitors and sell them on. It's a win-win for the seller and the buyer gets a reliable PSU that won't crap out on him any time soon.
Is there anyone like that in the Speccy community?

Step up to red alert. Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb!
Looking forward to summer in Somerset later in the year :)
Apparently, it's the fuses that are the most common cause of failure rather than the capacitors and it can be fixed without any soldering.
