SD Card Tape Player

Hi, I purchased one of these from China and just wanted to ask a few questions before I break into the packaging.

I see it comes with a power supply. Is this needed when its used in a tape player? If so how do you attach the power lead to a closed cassette deck?

    They're cheap mp3 players with cheap batteries. The power supply is needed to recharge the battery... until it fails.

    I've used one of those and it works, but the worst part is that selecting/playing/pausing is not easy (hint: if you press pause on the cassette, the mp3 WON'T stop).
