Your favourite Gene Wilder film

I've just heard that Gene Wilder has passed away. I'm a huge fan of his, so I thought I'd make a poll to find out which of his films we like the most. It's difficult for me to choose my favourite one, since he did so many, such as his brilliant performance in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, The Producers, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, etc, but I'm going to go with Young Frankenstein.

What about you? Note, I've only included the films I know, since I don't know how many poll options the forum allows at the moment.

And I've just changed my mind, I'm not voting for Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory!

  • Stir Crazy,
he was brilliant in Will & Grace too.
  • See no evil, hear no evil for me.
  • Willy Wonka - pure genius!
  • Very sad to hear of his passing...
  • Young Frankenstein for me. The couple Wilder/Feldman was one of the best comedy ones ever.
  • Sad to hear, I loved his films, Willy wonker, Young frankenstien, see no evil, best for me, but all the others are great too.
Every time I read that the oldest person in the world has died, I have to do a quick check to see it isn't ME..........
  • Couldn't choose - far too many classic films. Definitely not Another You though as that was a travesty. See No Evil Hear No Evil was probably my favourite of the Richard Pryor collaborations. It had a certain scene that I think I eventually wore the video tape out...
  • Too many to choose - I loved See no evil, hear no evil and Blazing Saddles was hilarious.
Almost all of them were good, except Another You which wasn't as good, probably as Richard Pryor is clearly ill when they made it.
I'd also be surprised if anyone votes for Haunted Honeymoon as well.

  • Hard to choose between Wonka, See Know... and Young Frankenstein. I have fond memories of Woman in Red too but that's more about Kelly Le Brock to be honest...

  • See no evil, hear no evil for me.

You just liked Joan Severance....heh. Nah, just kidding. After Stir Crazy, See No Evil, Hear No Evil is my fave.

I stole it off a space ship.
  • I'm sure that film had some boobies in it :D

  • It must be great up in Heaven, with Laurel and Hardy, Sid James, Bob Hope, Tommy Cooper, Rick Mayall, Robin Williams, Peter Sellers, etc!
  • Producers, although I also liked Silver Streak.
    No one important.
  • The Producers.
