For me it'd have to be Fred. I remember my dad got a tape from a bloke he worked with and Fred was on it. I was really impressed with the animation of Fred. I have to say Fred anyway as I can't get anywhere on Sir Fred. All I can do is go to about 4 screens and I get stuck.

Has to be Fred, I was too crap at Sir Fred. Couldn't time the jumps right, especially on that bloody rope.

I've gone for Sir Fred.

It was tough at first but I liked the incentive to explore, the multiple weapons and the varied object positions.

Don't think I ever finished it.

Sir Fred for me. I still struggle with the controls but I love it. Also looks good on the MSX

Fred for me. It's simpler, progressing through a labyrinth, the enemies are cool, ... Sir Fred is also good, anyway. An original adventure. But I can't go further than in Fred.

I like the way Sir Fred tries to get you to practice rope swinging by putting one on the first screen.

Hmmm, have just realised the reason Juan probably prefers Fred.. :P
