Timex Sinclair 2068 no color on composite or rf

Hello i was lucky to find a Timex Sinclair 2068 boxed nice and dandy, the issue is that i don't get color using rf nor composite tried in 4 different tv sets and cannot get colors in them.
Disassembled the unit and appears to never be modified and in original shape.

Any ideas ?

    Have you checked the PAL/NTSC encoder (MC1377)? I would check the power supply to the encoder (+12V line) on pin 14.

    I've read on one forum that faulty capacitors connected to pins 11&12 of MC1377 could cause this issue.

    Anyway I've dug out my old TC2048 from the loft storage. It sat there for nearly 20 years and it is faulty unit. I am going to repair it when I have a spare time this winter.
