I didn't read the reviews, but thanks for pointing it out. I only got it for collecting, but I am sure I would have tried it out once or twice for fun. Perhaps I will just leave it in the box after all !

To be honest, I guessed that the picture was just a mock-up of what to expect, I have seen things like this in the past and know that they are usually fairly primitive, the cheap one has good reviews though.

For myself this year I got this:

One pad on my DD55 set was becoming insensitive, so I got an upgrade. I already had the pedals, stand and seat. But found the DD65 in a pawn shop going cheap. In some ways it sounds better than the old DD55, in other ways not so. The built in digital delay makes it sound inaccurate at times. However, that does not matter as I'm still not too great. I have trouble allowing my right foot and left hand to do totally different things. However, I can do things like my foot coming down on the kick drum every third or fourth tap of my left hand. So this leads to quite a few musical combinations.

well i personally bought myself, a motorhead hoodie because i needed a band sweater / hoody rather than mi ramones one lol
I also bought a rolling stones glow in the dark live lp (mid 60s stuff) when i ordered the vinyl for their latest album for my christmas present off amazon

I'm still looking for a decent looking white Husker Du T-Shirt, but all the ones I can find are black, or some horrible colour like neon-orange, crappy reproductions, used, or have Candy Apple Grey on them (Which is by far their worst...well anything really!).
