The Christmas decorations have been taken down...

    I remember being little.. At that age it was a really sad thing.

    This year we only put it up a week before and took it down just after New Year..

    The house really looks empty without them. Although I'm sure I will be finding pine needles in the carpet for the rest of the year.

    Bloody sick of Christmas, and I'm glad it's sodded off for the next 6 and a half months!

    My tree light stopped working after boxing day and they only worked again after they had been taken down a day or so later
    Every time I read that the oldest person in the world has died, I have to do a quick check to see it isn't ME..........

    Spent Xmas day evening taking the decorations down.

    Bloody Christmas is an expensive waste of time, no-one know the real reason we celebrate it anymore, which just makes it irrelevant in my book.

    Seriously though, I'm not a huge fan I suppose because we don't have children. But when the God Children come round on boxing day I love the day!

    I agree. The long run-up thing is annoying as by the time it arrives you're thoroughly sick of it. There should be a law that they can only plug it after Halloween.
