Is Don Priestley a Donald?

I don't recall ever seeing Don Priestley's first name spelled any other way but Don.

I stumbled completely by accident of course on to a website by some name I have apparently forgotten by now. There, under the Copyright's section was a list of people and companies who had given that particular website permission to host their games.

Don Priestley's name is there given as Donald.

News to me.

Can anyone here deny or confirm this, and if it's correct then how about adding that as an AKA.
